Ryan Edwards, of Teen Mom fame, has been arrested in several ways in Tennessee.
According to the Hamilton Country Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) in Tennessee, Ryan was arrested on Friday, February 10.
The day before, the 35-year-old father-of-three had been issued a protection order requiring him to immediately vacate the premises where his wife, Mackenzie Edwards, currently lives.
On Friday morning, Mackenzie then reported to the HCSO’s East Annex to file a report about Ryan sharing risqué photos of her on his Instagram.
As Monsters and critics reported, Ryan launched a social media diatribe accusing Mackenzie of cheating, threatening a divorce, and posting a revealing photo of her calling her vulgar names.
As it turned out, Ryan had violated the Order of Protection against him by contacting Mackenzie’s father on Thursday and telling him to let Mackenzie know he was going to her house to collect his belongings.

HCSO deputies also learned that Ryan had an active warrant for harassment, listing Mackenzie as a victim, which was filed Feb. 8.
Mackenzie later met with officers at the residence where Ryan was staying and found it had suffered “considerable damage”.
Ryan was subsequently apprehended at his workplace in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and was taken into custody for the harassment warrant and allegedly violating the Order of Protection.
He was booked into Silverdale Detention Center in Chattanooga on several charges: harassment (warrant), possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance.
According to the HCSO, a “petition to violate” has been filed with the Hamilton County Magistrate’s Office, which will bail Ryan for violating the Order of Protection.
Ryan has since deleted the Instagram post featuring Mackenzie’s racy photo.

Ryan has a troubled past, struggles with drug addiction and run-ins with the police. In 2018, Ryan was arrested for heroin possession after violating his probation related to another charge.
Ryan’s wife, Mackenzie, isn’t the only one to have filed a protection order against him either. In 2018, his ex Maci Bookout filed one following his arrest in March of that year, alleging that Ryan threatened to harm her and take their son Bentley with him.
Interestingly, news of Ryan’s most recent arrest comes hot on the heels of Teen Mom Family Reunion psychiatrist Dr. Cheyenne Bryant reporting that Ryan and Maci worked through their issues to establish a “really beautiful” co-parenting relationship.
