Prince William, Kate Middleton, and the Queen Wish Baby Lili a Happy Birthday

This weekend, the royals have plenty to celebrate. Of course, there’s the ongoing Platinum Jubilee, which commemorates Queen Elizabeth’s record-breaking 70 years on the throne with parades and church services and concerts. But there’s one other milestone to note: Lili’s first birthday!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby girl turns one today, and while rumors of a birthday party this weekend have yet to be confirmed publicly—it is understood that the Sussexes are spending today privately—several members of the royal family have offered best wishes for the youngster on social media.

Lili’s aunt and uncle, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge tweeted: “Wishing a very happy birthday to Lilibet, turning one today!” this morning.

While we have yet to see baby Lili or her older brother Archie this week, the Sussexes confirmed their children would be traveling to the UK for the Jubilee earlier this year. “Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited and honoured to attend The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations this June with their children,” reads a statement shared by a spokesperson for the Sussexes in early May. But it’s unclear how long they will be in the country.
