Caroline Hegarty took to her TikTok account (@officialflb) to reveal the one product she’d never come close to removing unwanted body hair.
The beauty expert responded to a comment asking exactly why she wouldn’t use the hair removal method.
The item in question? Hair removal cream.
“Why don’t you agree with depilatory cream?” asked the viewer.
They added, “I’m interested to know now, is it a personal choice or a specific reason?”
The professional waxer revealed it was a personal opinion, but explained how hair removal cream works and why it wasn’t for her.
She said, “When it comes to hair removal creams.
“The ingredients in the cream actually eat the hair, okay? It can’t really tell what’s hair and what’s skin.”
Caroline added that many people often think they can leave it on longer to really get all the hair out.
But in fact, the cream also removes your skin – leading to nasty burns.
The waxer added, “Don’t do that.
“Because it’s going to keep eating and eating and eating and eating, and before you know it, you’ve got burns, you’ve got a really bad allergic reaction.
“You’ve caused some serious skin problems.”
She continued: “I just don’t get it.
“And I don’t know why people would put that shit on their little cat.
“Goddammit, we only have one lady, take care of it.”
Caroline ended the video saying she couldn’t get paid to use the stuff, but urged viewers to do what works for them.
Women quickly took to the comments section of the video to share their thoughts.
Many admitted that they basically ruined their bits thanks to the depilatory cream that left burn marks.
One person wrote, “PSA not to let it sit too long because I once chemically burned my petunia wife with hair removal cream.”
Another commented, “I first put it on my fandango, washed it off and all it had done was dull the hair, I broke 2 razors trying to fix it.”
“I used it once. Bad chemical burn couldn’t leave it on all the time either. Worst hair removal,” wrote a third.
Meanwhile, a fourth added: “I got chemical burns on my legs from it…it really isn’t going anywhere else.”
“I’ve used hair removal cream in the past, but never on my lady bits. You can’t pay me to touch my bits with that,” claimed a fifth.
